Depicts two million plastic beverage bottles, the number used in the US every five minutes.

Chris Jordan is an internationally acclaimed photography artist and social activist whose work explores the detritus of consumer culture. His newest series, titled “Running the numbers” depicts the staggering statistics that define our mass consumption, in huge intricately detailed panels as large as thirty feet wide.
