Ingeo™ fiber – Hometextile applications Ingeo™ fiber is the world’s first and only man-made fiber based on NatureWorks® PLA and coming from 100% annually renewable resources such as maize, not oil.

Produced by NatureWorks LLC , Ingeo fiber offers the best of both worlds, the appeal and aesthetic of a natural based fiber combined with the performances of high tech synthetic . And because it is derived entirely from natural sources, Ingeo fiber contributes to reducing our dependence on limited fossil fuel resources such as oil, the higher costs of which are currently being seen by the textile industry at large.

HOMETEXTILE END USES

Ingeo fiber is used in different hometextile product categories thanks to its features. It is suitable for bedding fiberfill (such as pillows, duvets and quilts), ticking fabrics, mattresses, blankets, carpets, draperies, furnishing and panel fabrics.

DRAPERY - LODETEX	DRAPERIES flammability properties - natural - luster and drape - durability KEY PERFORMANCES Flammability Properties: Fabrics made from Ingeo fiber performed well in flammability characterization tests performed by independent labs. In the independent testing described below, Ingeo fiber equaled or outperformed other fibers. Luster and Drape: Ingeo fiber filament has a subtle luster and fluid drape with a natural hand offering a beautiful new material to stimulate creativity.
PILLOW/DUVET - MOLINA	PILLOW/DUVETS sustainable - softness - hypoallergenic - durability KEY PERFORMANCES Comfort and Confidence: Ingeo fiber has proved to have outstanding wicking properties and low odor retention giving the wearer optimum comfort and confidence. Natural Loft: Ingeo fiber has a soft, fluffy feel and after it's compressed, it easily returns to its bulky appearance
BLANKET - ZAMBAITI	BLANKETS warmth - comfort - easy care - softness - versatility KEY PERFORMANCES Transpirability: Ingeo fiber has low odor retention. Hypoallergenic: Ingeo fiber shows no evidence of skin sensitization in third party testing. Ingeo fiber does not support bacterial proliferation.
FURNISHING - RODA	FURNISHING upholstery fiberfill, office wall panelling natural in origin - natural loft - easy care -comfort KEY PERFORMANCES Smoke Generation (ASTM E1354): In independent testing, fabrics without FR treatment made from Ingeo fiber generated significantly less visible smoke than fabrics made from untreated polyester. Ignition Characteristics: The Limited Oxygen Index test (ASTM D2863) measures the amount of oxygen in the air required to support combustion. Fabric made from 100% untreated Ingeo fiber received a slow burn rating, outperforming fabrics made from untreated PET, cotton, nylon, rayon, and acrylic and performing similar to wool.
