Bio-Based Ingeo™ fiber becomes the first in the textile sector to actively promote Earth Month.
EARTH MONTH: April 21 – May 31 2005 - Ingeo fiber is supporting and promoting Earth Month, an annual initiative that starts with Earth Day, which is sponsored by the United Nations and celebrates our planet and shared environment. This represents the beginning of, what Ingeo intends to be, an annual focus on the synergy between innovation, environmental sustainability and the reality of the new lifestyle choices for all our apparel and home/office textile needs.
“Ingeo” means ingredients from the earth, and as a new and unique ingredient brand in the clothing and textile industry, Ingeo (as in Ingeo the brand) is enormously proud to support activities like Earth Month.
Ingeo fiber – the first manmade fiber created from 100% annually renewable resources – is an innovative product that combines the best of both worlds: the performance of a synthetic fiber and the appeal of a natural material. And because it is derived entirely from natural sources, Ingeo fiber contributes to reducing our dependence on limited fossil fuel resources such as oil.
