Unwrap Fresh Marketing Ideas The NatureWorks® brand biopolymer is capturing shoppers’ attention and loyalty as they seek to provide natural, wholesome and convenient meal solutions to their families. Consumers prefer fresh foods packaged in 100 percent natural-based packaging because it offers all of the convenience of traditional plastic without the environmental compromise. This document provides a summary of brand discussions at a recent meeting in Naarden, The Netherlands. The purpose of the meeting was to look at how to best understand and sell this brand concept in Europe.
Technology Focus Report: Polylactic Acid Containing Fillers and Fibers The grades of polylactic acid (PLA), as supplied by NatureWorks LLC, are not modified with fillers or fibers. The physical and rheological properties contained in the available specifications sheets are those of the natural polymer and are representative of NatureWorks® PLA biopolymer in the amorphous or crystallized form, depending on the polymer grade. This document is designed to provide an overview, as well as a starting point, for end-users of NatureWorks® biopolymer who would like to modify the polymer's physical or rheological properties with fillers or fibers.
Technology Focus Report: Blends of PLA with Other Thermoplastics Polylactic acid (PLA), as supplied by NatureWorks LLC, is a single, homogeneous biopolymer and is not blended with other polymers. The physical and rheological properties contained in the available specification sheets are those of the natural polymer and are representative of NatureWorks® biopolymer in the amorphous or crystallized form, depending on the polymer grade. This document is designed to provide an overview, as well as a starting point, for end-users NatureWorks® biopolymer who would like to modify the polymer's physical or rheological properties by blending with other polymers.
Technology Focus Report: Toughened PLA Polylactic acid (PLA), as supplied by NatureWorks LLC, is a single, homogeneous polymer and does not contain impact modifiers. The physical and rheological properties contained in the available specification sheets are those of the natural polymer. This document is designed to provide an overview, as well as a starting point, for end-users of NatureWorks® biopolymer who would like to modify the polymer's impact or ductility characteristics by blending with rubbery polymers.
